incident trigger on count of thresholds breach

I want to create an incident on a specific webrequest responsetime, but only if it is above 15seconds 5 times during 5 minutes.

I cannot really get my head around how to do it. Any ideas?

Hello Anders,

You can create an incident with the 5 minutes evaluation time-frame but the threshold will be evaluated as average to trigger the incident not to wait for 5 times violations.

Hi Anders, this is untested and off the top of my head, but I believe you could:

  1. Create a measure with the threshold set to 15s then create a threshold violation measure.
  2. On the threshold violation measure, set the upper warning or severe of the violation measure to be 5.
  3. Use the threshold violation measure in an incident (the incident timeframe is set to 5mins).

Big thank you! Never saw that measure. That should definitively do it. Thanks!

@Adam G.The incident aggregation should be count or sum?

Thanks,

Harin
