ldap access isn't working after DT upgrade from 6.2 to 6.5

Hello, just upgraded from 6.2 to 6.5 and unable to login to the client using LDAP access. Please advise!

Hi Hany,

Please make the following changes:

-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.includePrimaryGroupForLDAPActiveDirectory=false

-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.strictLDAPAuthentication=false

  • The above two are in
    server.ini
  • Change starttls to false
    under the mailserver in server.config

Restart Dynatrace server and try to login with LDAP.

The documentation suggested changing in dtserver.ini

But the two lines do not exist, do they need to be included?

-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.includePrimaryGroupForLDAPActiveDirectory=false

-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.strictLDAPAuthentication=false

Yes, if the lines are not already present, just add them.

We're facing the same problem with LDAP after upgrading from 6.5 to 7.0 - is the solution the same as above?
