report export missing data


Hi all,

When I run a report based on visits and export the data to excel, the excel file is missing a lot of the data shown in the client. Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

by default there is a limit of lines that can be displayed in an excel report. if you run the report manually from the client, you should put the following "Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.reporting.maxTableRows = 1000000" flag in the dtclient.ini file.
Number can be changed.
If it is a scheduled report, you will need to add the string in the dtserver.ini file. Pay attention because you probably have to restart the dynatrace server and client.

lastly you should change the dashboard reporting parameters and save it.


For excel reporting there is an option that needs to be changed. Go to dashlet properties --> reporting tab you can configure maximum number of lines per table. You do not need to configure this for PDF.
