Description:
We recently added Dynatrace's ready-made Auto-fetch execution plans workflow to our Dynatrace Workflows.
However, even though it's executing as expected, when in the Databases app, I'm not seeing any new Execution plans marked as Available.
Note: The only Execution Plans marked as Available are the ones I fetched manually.
I thought the whole point to adding this Workflow was so we didn't have to manually Fetch Execution Plans?
Technologies:
This is related to the Execution Plan function in the Databases app, where we are currently and primarily monitoring our primary RDS PostgreSQL instances.
Troubleshooting steps already tried:
Confirmed the affected TEST database meets all the requirements listed here. Auto-fetching doesn't work, but manually fetching Execution Plans does.
Steps for Reproduction:
Visiting the Databases app, you can clearly see no Execution Plans are marked as Available.
Impacted environments:
At the moment, only our TEST databases are affected. We have not created the dynatrace schema needed for Execution Plans (as mentioned in the requirements) on any of our PROD databases. We want to confirm functionality on a TEST database before deploying this to PROD.
Could someone help us confirm that this ready-made Workflow is actually working properly?
If it's not working as expected, we will need to disable it, as Workflows cost us money.
