Azure WebApp integration

Hello again with a question. I'm integrating an Azure WebApp with Dynatrace. The WebApp is on a Windows server. I integrated it through the one-agent, which I installed via the Azure extension. Now, how can I activate traffic and log ingestion?

Hi @Ellery,

I have only idea regarding the log. Becasue your log is not automatically detected you should use the Custom log soure in the section of Log Monitoring settings beside with Log ingest rules.

I hope it helps,

I've already done this and created a custom log with the path where the log should be located, and added another one with the specific name of the created log.

Should I restart the application for it to capture the new telemetry, or should it do so automatically?

Hi @Ellery,

I missed it in your previous post. I thought that in your original post there was a log inges rule.

So do you have a log ingest rule  too for these logs?

Fosr your question the answer is yes if the custom log source and log ingest rule exist for the log.

Best reagards,
