We have a custom service we created using the "Service detection rules for External Web Requests" to capture specific out going traffic to SAP from our GCP environment which is monitored by Dynatrace. It seemed to be working fine, however around March 3rd the service now shows up as 2 of the exact same services in Dynatrace and we can not find a reason for it.
Example
The only difference between the 2 identical services is under "Properties" where the original service shows a circle gear like icon and shows "Technologies as SAP" while the duplicate service that should not be there shows a different icon and is missing the "Technologies" section in the "Properties".
Example
Here is the single rule that should only be creating the single service
I can find no reason as to why this duplicate service is showing up in Dynatrace. All the distributed traces are the same in both services. I have tried just about everything possible with the rule itself to try and correct it. The rule is the very first rule in "Service detection rules for External Web Requests" and there are no other rules looking for the same URL.
It is really making no sense to me as to what is causing this. I have a support case open on it, but thought I would post here as well to see if anyone else has ever ran into this?
Thanks!

Have you tried switching 'URL context root' and 'Public domain name' to "Override to constant value" rather than allowing the original value to be used?

Yep, gave that a try and even the port toggle.
