Connecting between multiple Dynatrace instance

We need to connect 2 Dynatrace instances one what platform provider is giving and other one is with the client. The ask is to how can we support 2 instances in sync in this case ? Can we have a primary-secondary architecture where we can use client managed Dynatrace instance as the holistic monitoring platform which can combine instrumentation data from platform provided instance as well ?

Is this multi-instance model supported? What's the impact on the license, storage, archiving in such scenario ?

You can create multi environment dashboards and enable cross-environment tracing  to get a better view of applications that span servers connected to multiple dynatrace clusters.
