Hi,

is there a way that I can create a chart and add it to a dashboard with the available and used space for cluster datastore?

Regards,

Mauricio

Hello @mauricio_capiz

If I am not mistaken, the virtual layer support is available only for VMware, so in the case of VMware, we can monitor the datastore-related activity on your VMware platform.

Babar

Hello Babar,

Thanks for you answer.

The client wants to monitor the datastore through a dashboard and I can't find how to do. It's possible?

Regards.

Hello @mauricio_capiz

Do you have VMware?

Babar

Hi,

Yes, the client have VMware.

Regards.

Hello @mauricio_capiz

In such a scenario, they should be able to plot the chart and display it on the dashboard. I do not have VMware, otherwise, I could share the step-by-step process.

Regards,

Babar

We have been asking the same for a while as well to help monitor our VMware datastores.  I'm sending this chat to our VMware Engineer to contribute with details.   We ended up purchasing the VMware Alert extension so that VMware alerts related to Datastore would be caught by DT and raise a problem.  It would be better though if DT could just monitor the Datastores directly.
