Need to collect CA APM MQ metrics to Dynatrace

Hi Team,

we are trying to monitor IBM MQ from Dynatrace but Dynatrace has limitation on monitoring IBM MQ with the version less than 8. But we have already got the IBM MQs getting monitored on CA APM with all the versions.

As of now we would required to fetch the CA APM IBM MQ metrics to Dynatrace and show it in Dynatrace dashboards. So, kindly let me know the possibilities on implementing this.

Hi @rajdeepan03,

IMO The easiest way would  be to create an active gate extension (v1) that will run a small python code which will pull the information from CA and push it into dynatrace with Metrics API - POST ingest data points
