using tag in Dynamic filters

in a custom dashboard . i will be adding unix host , remote unix, wintel  and database tiles. 

I want to filter it out with Tag . which i have assigned to each entities for eg  key /value = apps1:easytrip 

i tried for dynamic filters but  i see lot of options 

generic tag key , tag host , tag application , tag services . tag custome device

which one i need to use ?  i tried all but no filtering happening

If you're matching different entity types with the same tag, is best to use the generic tag key and select each entity type you're going to be including in your dashboard:
