Developer Tenant - Configuration for SSO testing

I have requested a Developer tenant in order to test SSO configuration. In the Account Settings section - it's the same as my Production tenant which I do not want to impact while testing SSO configuration which became GA last month. I expected the Developer tenant not to be associated with my existing Production environments.

Please advise. Thank you.

This morning the Development instance is showing separately when I go to Account Settings.

I see

ABC Inc

ABC

So I'm able to click on ABC Inc which shows my development tenant with its own setting configurations.
