API to set up VCenter / VMWare monitoring?

We are looking for an API to set up VCenter / VMWare monitoring in automatic way, not via UI.

I was unable to find it so far.

Any hints?

Any plans for future?

Or I need to open REF for it?

There is no API for it currently and I didn't find an existing Product Idea.

So your best option would be to open a new Product Idea for it.
