Azure tags for filtering without specifying a value

I have configured the Azure metrics integration but selected the option: "monitor resources by selected tags"

When I enter an existing tag with an existing value this filter works. But when I only specify the key without a value, I would expect that any resource with this tag and whatever value is considered.
Unfortunately this is not the case. No metrics are coming in anymore.

Any suggestions? Intended, RFE or bug?

are you talking about in relation to a chart? you would need to select the Key Value to the Key:all

Not the chart, but the settings to filter the monitored Azure resources.
