Business Transactions Push/Export

Dear All,

What is the actual way to push/export the business transaction to the Dynatrace Environment?

I did a workaround e.g.

1. Create a dashboard.
2. Filter with the required business transaction.
3. Click the ellipsis button on the dashboard and Export to Dynatrace Environment.

Once we exported the dashboard then where to find the business transaction data in the Dynatrace Environment.

I think it may be best way. Embedded http stream for BT's is not able to be parsed by dynatrace...

It means there is no proper way to incorporate AppMon business transaction data into Dynatrace, as mentioned in the following link:

Hi,

the way that you did it you're exporting the _measure_ data that's a result of the business transaction (i.e. things like PurePath Response Time etc, all the result measures that you define on the BT) to dynatrace, which you can then use in a custom chart there.

In general, that's probably often what you want, but the Purepath grouping features of a BT won't be exported like this. Let me know if you need more details, cheers,

First of all, there is no AppMon data in the custom chart area. Secondly, what is the way to export the business transaction?

You can push any of the following AppMon metric types to Dynatrace:

• Measures
• Business transactions
• Host & process metrics
• Server health metrics

Hi Babar,

there's different ways, the one that I always choose is I go to

System Profile -> Measures -> right-click on the BT result measures and say export to <environment>

After several minutes of delay, the measure should then be available in dynatrace as a custom charting option. If that's not the case, please open a support ticket. Cheers,

I have tried in the past and this way worked for me. Basically, I was thinking to export the business transaction in a way to have all the splitting data available instead of only metrics information.

Any way to get the splitting data?
