Can the Host Agent or an Extension monitor the Health and performance of

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages?

Hi @D_Miller, I'm not sure it can, but I found this post on the community about SSIS monitoring. Perhaps the MSSQL extension will help?

Yes, it can using available extensions on the Dynatrace extension hub. You can also build a plugin in custom extension by pulling the required metrics from default SSIS packages using query and ingesting in Dynatrace using API by building it in python code.

Recommend using an active gate extension.

Hello,

The extension is monitoring the DB and provide DB metrics.  I'm looking for something that will monitor the health and the results of SSIS Packages that are scheduled on the SQL Host.

So far the only way I know is to monitor either the log files or the events.  I would've thought that the Agent could monitor the SSIS Packages are sure they're written in .Net. Though I know that would mean setting the Agent to Full Stack which could be expensive. Ideally there would be an SSIS/SSRS extension.
