Could not detect activity errors

Recently I've seen errors in the Dynatrace managed instance such as:

Could not detect <XXX> activity on host <YYY>, Could not trigger script <ZZZ>

Where <XXX> are any components such as server, security-gateway, cassandra, ... and <ZZZ> is appropriate shell script used internally to start component.

In the Server_Debug log I can see few messages like "Nginx is unavailable on this node. - command output: Could not trigger script: /opt/dynatrace-managed/launcher/nginx.sh", but there errors are only nginx.sh related and do not correlate with the timestamps from the error log in the cluster management console.

So far all works normally I didn't notice any issues with the instance/cluster at all.

Is anyone also encountering these errors? Is probably the virtualization to blame here? (Cluster node is running in a vmware virtual machine) Time to open a support ticket?

Hey, were you able to get this issue resolved? Did you have to open a support ticket? what was the result? did you run into any issues?
