Could it be that both ways of providing metadata and tags via host environment variables as described here (https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/insight-dis... and here (https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/infrastruct... are not working yet in version 1.132?
I've set
DT_CUSTOM_PROP=Customer=Hybris CustomerName=SAP-Hybris-Cloud-Services Environment=PROD Role=jmp
DT_TAGS=Customer=Hybris CustomerName=SAPHybrisCloudServices Environment=PROD Role=jmp
and nothing shows up on the host level in DT
This is taken by the agent.This feature requires Dynatrace OneAgent v1.127 or higher.
Have you set that on the monitored host or on the cluster's host?
It's set on the monitored host and the agent version is 1.131
Could it be that the oneagent needs to to be running with these environment variables passed to it?
It seems that if checking oneagentos' environment variables thats not the case:
[abcxyz@ycs.io@ro1-cmz-ljp-001 ~]$ env | grep DT_
DT_CUSTOM_PROP=Customer=Hybris CustomerName=SAP-Hybris-Cloud-Services Environment=PROD Role=jmp
DT_TAGS=Customer=Hybris CustomerName=SAPHybrisCloudServices Environment=PROD Role=jmp
[abcxyz@ycs.io@ro1-cmz-ljp-001 ~]$ sudo strings -a /proc/3698/environ
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin
PWD=/
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHLVL=1
_=/usr/bin/nohup
Hi
the docs imply these are for process groups only but your question seem to imply you are looking at the host properties.
