Dynatrace on Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster with existing activeGate

Hello,

For a customer we are installing Dynatrace on a OC cluster. We already have activeGate's inplace so we modified the operator yaml to point to the API end-point on an existing activeGate and removed the "create activegates on OC cluster" lines. After this everything works..... Except the connection from the AG to the OC cluster.

SO basically if you do not use activeGates in Pods on the OC cluster, the connection to the OC cluster has to be defined manually and is not done by the Operator?

Yes, the automatic k8s API Integration only works if you use the ActiceGates deployed by the Operator.

If you use an "external" AG you have to set the integration up via GUI or API.
