The reason why I'm asking this question here is because there is no documentation clearly emphasize the effect to monitoring tools, during the inactive buffer between license renewal process. What is the impact during the period to DCRUM and classic appmon? Based on my personal experience, DCRUM will still capture and store data in the background, and display them once valid license is being replaced. On the other hand, appmon agent will stop capturing data the moment license expire. Can anyone validate these statement?
For NAM (DC RUM), you're right. If you're using the capacity-based licensing model, NAM will still capture data and display them once the new license is applied.
For Dynatrace (SaaS/Managed) the Cluster and environments will still be accessible, but agents will stop capturing and sending data. (Not sure about sending data through the REST API).
