Empty installation Files

Hi , does anyone ever met that Installation files list is empty after insatll Dynatrace Managed over 30mins?


I'm sure that Managed Server had connected with Mission Control.


From Server_Debug.0.0.log i can see some exception

error - BadRequestException : Could not parse bad installer version file.

That's definitely not a standard situation. Do you use http proxy to connect to mission control? Does the proxy use some kind of content inspection and filtering?

No , i didn't use proxy , actually this is third time to install managed on the same host , every time i got different problem.

That's an issue we have found recently. Fix is already in progress. I'll update that answer with a solution and details soon.


Update 22/11/2019 13:05

Only Dynatrace Managed clusters in version 1.180 with automatic downloads enabled were affected. Isssue is now fixed. Root case: invalid update meta data file was published and distributed to all managed clusters in version 1.180. This file was reverted to previous version.


No product change was required. Update files has just started to be downloaded.
