I am thinking of trying to find what Hosts have recently been created in an elastic environment. Is there a particular EventType that gets thrown when the Host gets created?

Hi Ray,

The Deployment Status page has a "Recently connected hosts" page that shows you the hosts that were recently monitored in the last 72 hours. All your new hosts in the last 72 hours should be listed there. If this is not sufficient you could possibly utilize the Dynatrace API to fetch the list of monitored hosts. You could write a script to pull the list of monitored hosts for a time frame (e.g yesterday) and compare it with the list for another more recent timeframe e.g. the last 30 minutes. There is a startTimestamp and endTimestamp optional filter to do this. Its a little complex but an option. See details on the API here

Hope This Helps
