The impact of a Datapower device

Has anyone seen the impact of a Datapower device in the middle of 2 monitored device communication in Dynatrace?

I am trying to figure out if the datapower device with break the serviceflow of an application if we have agent on either side of the datapower, or will the datapower just be listed as a proxy device in the serviceflow.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian - As long as you make sure the the X-dynaTrace header is passed along through Datapower, the service flow will remain connected on either side, and Datapower should show up as a proxy.

@Jordan C.

Is there a tech note which can help us configure those settings at DataPower

Could you pls share if you have any document links related to this?

Hi,

I'm interested in an answer to Srikrishna's question.
I see the call from a web service to another through a Datapower as a request to an unmonitored host.
I guess that the Datapower does not pass the X-dynaTrace header, but how can I check this is the real issue?

Thanks
