Metric Definition - GC Suspension Time

May I clarify that the (%) GC Suspension time measured under Dynatrace, process -> JVM metrics is interpret as % of time spent in suspended state for that interval due to major GC? Ie. GC suspension 10% in one minute interval chart indicates that application is in suspended stated for 6 seconds?

Also is there a metric definition document available for Dynatrace?

I think your understanding of suspension measure is correct. I don't think there is any documentation that presents how each type of measure is directly calculated. Many of them are taken straight from API of technology that is related. This is why such definitions aren't available in dynatrace docs.
