Migrate from AppMon Agent to OneAgent, do I need to do service restart once or twice?

Hear me out if you don't quite get it by just reading the question alone.

Restart twice:

1. Remove or comment out the injection line

2. Service Restart (First Time)

3. Uninstall AppMon Agent and do folder cleanup

4. Install OneAgent

5. Service Restart (Second Time)

Restart Once:

1. Remove or comment out the injection line

2. Uninstall AppMon Agent and do folder cleanup

3. Install OneAgent

4. Service Restart (First and the Last Time)

Which one would it gonna be?

Best Regards,

Wai Keat

In my opiniom first option is safer for your application.

In order to reduce application restarts while also not changing the libraries and files of a live service I would suggest the following.

Stop/Start Service Once:

1. Stop Service

2. Remove or comment out the injection line

3. Uninstall AppMon Agent and do folder cleanup

4. Install OneAgent

5. Start Service
