Does anyone have an idea of when the Oneagent will be available for Redhat on zLinux
Solved! Go to Solution.
I haven't seen zLinux on any publicly communicated roadmap yet, but that does not mean it's not in the works. You should contact your sales representative or Dynatrace technical manager for Oneagent (@Bartosz G.) to get the most accurate answer.
Hi Barry. We are currently defining a scope and timing for the "OneAgent for zLinux" project. Most likely the solution will be delivered in stages, but it is too early at the moment to state any dates. It looks like it is coming, though. 🙂
Hello, is there an update to this? Have you identified the first install type to adopt?
Hi @Barry L.,
I just want to give you an update on your question.
OneAgent for zLinunx or Linux on the IBM Z platform for Red Hat (RHEL 6.9+) will be available to all customers as an early adopter release soon (mid-August 2019 for managed) with agent version 1.173 and 1.174.
OneAgent for zLinux comes equipped with deep-monitoring modules for Java, Apache/IHS, and IIB/MQ.
We are also working on SUSE, which should follow shortly after Red Hat.
Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Kurt
