Security Gateway status - how would I know if it is in use by agents?

The Gateway and an agent are registered with DynaTrace SaaS successfully. I can open telnet connection to port 9999 from the agent VM to the Gateway, but I am not sure if the Gateway is actually used by the agent. How can I check it? I would expect an agent list in Deployment Status/DynaTrace Security Gateways.

We're seeing that our security Gateways are not getting updated;
It would be nice to see an answer for this.

Additionally, in the Deployment Status-> Dynatrace Security Gateway (Status Page) it'd be nice to see # of agents and loading / health metrics (the way AppMon collectors behaved)

I too have the same question, While installing agent it give me pop up like failed to connect to cluster node. But I could see monitoring data from same host. I am using security gateway in this case.
Not able to differ which agents are connected through Security gateway or directly through internet .
