Security Gateway usage

Hi,

Is there a complete (functional) list where the SG is used for, I found out you need it when you want to using mobile monitoring and downloading crash dumps. I understand the name Gateway but it does a little more than that!

If you only need a SG for downloading a dump, can you install an temporary SG instance on an already used machine in a Dynatrace cluster?
