There's not enough free disk space in Long-term Metrics store for Cassandra

We were facing space crunch due to compaction issue oncassandra so we have extended the space of 100GB, post that issue got resolved temporarily. Even after extending it, the issue re occurred, currently 894.5 GiB free space left out of 1.8 TiB and available space is 0. Is there any way to resolve this permanently and the version is 1.198.90.

Please add more disk space so it’s double the metric storage you see in disk utilization at node. The more you monitor the more you need to store the data - that’s why you might have seen reoccurring warning events.

We have improved the way we handle metric storage in 1.200. Read more here

Hi @Radoslaw S.,

Read the blog post and an quite impressed with all the optimization going on! There was a promise that we would have self monitoring dashboards for Managed:

Do you have an idea when they will be available?

They will be. Hopefully early next year. We had to redesign that a bit.
