What is the "Large environment" in the deployment of ActiveGate?

Dear all,

When checking the hardware requirements for AG, I found that this doc page says "For large environments, you may need to use a machine with additional CPU and memory", but I couldn't find any statements for large environments.

https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/activegate-requirements#hardware-requirements

So I'd like to know:

- What system is defined as "Large"?

For example, the number of its transactions/operation time... and so on.

- What are the hardware requirements for ActiveGate when the system is considered as "Large"?

CPU/RAM/Disk...

Regards,

Kohei

There is no documentation for this, this is because it can be related to number of hosts or traffic on them. In general I would consider more than one active gate per each 100 hosts connected to it. Till 100 hosts regular scaling is fine. In general this case is quite fluent so you should check performance of ActiveGate (you can install agent there for some time to check) and decide by yourself.
