Hello

gettting an error when we try to use the chat. screenshot attached.

Check console in browser (F12 on Windows), reload page and check exception there. It is possible that you are in internal network that is blocking some features like chat. If you will see there some failes XHR/WebSocket connection you will have to check reason of such block. If you are in public / home network, not corporate one, than there is possible that some plugin to browser like adblock is affecting chat, but check console as well.
