To save the required efforts configuring Oracle database instances:

1. create credential vaults for the common usernames and passwords.
2. start adding the oracle database instances, select credential vault instead of manually adding UN, and PW.
3. alternatively, you can use connection string.
4. based on the actual scenario, you can enable SSL but, ensure using an SSL port and add server's certificate to truststore on the activegates intended for oracle DB Monitoring.

you can add metadata through define button for ease of DB differentiation.
