You beat us to it 😊 We’re still fixing the final issues which were found during the HOT sessions Perform. Once that is ironed out we’ll add it to the official marketplace of vscode.
We’re super excited to see your feedback and contributions!

We will add it to the marketplace somewhere in the next two weeks. If you can wait for that version, you don’t have to recreate your configuration once you migrate from the GitHub build.

@jegron I'm glad to see you enjoyed the Perform conference and got excited by the VSCode Extension add-on!
Today the project went up on the VSCode Marketplace so everyone has a direct link from their editor to try it out.
I also wrote a few more details in this post:

Radu ran an observability clinic with Andi Grabner yesterday for a good view of the latest state of the vscode addon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy4Ge8HIzEk&ab_channel=Dynatrace

Thanks @Radu for the demo!
Do you plan to release an option for downloading an extension that already exists on the tenant from Visual Studio?
I currently download it via API manually. Maybe there's an easier way?

Hi @jegron - this feature is already part of the add-on and demo-ed at the end of the video shared by Mike

Oups I missed it. Ok I understand I need to initialize workspace with a new and empty folder 👍
