Extension Suddenly not Reporting Metrics

Anyone experience times where an extension (WMI datasource in our case) suddenly stopped reporting metrics into Dynatrace for no apparent reason? Nothing has changed on the agent side or with the version. I've restarted the agent service but that did not do anything. Anyone have troubleshooting steps for this? I've looked at the wmi query being ran it is still valid, just doing simple queries like the below

SELECT LDAPClientSessions, LDAPSearchesPersec FROM Win32_PerfFormattedData_DirectoryServices_DirectoryServices

Just to take this out of the equation, have you confirmed you didn't reach your DDU quotas (monthly/environment if managed cluster)?
