Failed to assign monitoring configuration to ActiveGate in Confluent Kafka Extension

juangarcia23

I have tried to install a configuration for this extension in our Active gates but I get this error:

Failed to assign monitoring configuration to ActiveGate. Reason: GENERIC_ERROR:There is no endpoint that could have connected.;
any ideas on what could be causing this error?

Hi @juangarcia23 ,
Without looking at the configuration it's difficult to tell exactly what's going on just from the error you posted. However, as the Confluent API is public, I would make sure your ActiveGate(s) have network access to it. If you have multiple ActiveGates in the configured group, to take full advantage of the group, each AG would need to have access to the API. If you've verified connectivity with the Confluent API. , please open a support ticket and we can take a closer look.

Hi @juangarcia23 ,

Check the network connectivity from the activegate to Confluent Cloud URL:

You can run and download activegate diagnostic of activegate selected:

then check the following logs dynatracesourceprometheus_fastcheck.log:
