On Dynatrace managed, I configured a JMX plugin using a json file to collect Weblogic JMX metrics. But it is not working. I suspect the domain to be the problem.

Did you use the plugin builder ? I think it is not yet publicly available, but it is in beta. The builder will enable you to browse the JMX metrics and generate the plugin JSON file. Since you can browse it, it minimizes the human error and incorrect McBean identifiers.

But I did not have that privilege. The plugin builder is not available on the dynatrace managed I am using.
