I have Cisco router/switch traps coming into the Dynatrace SNMP trap extension. Managed environment, log monitoring classic. One example scenario, and there will likely be similar ones, that I'm struggling with is creating events based on interface status (up/down) and/or utilization.
The interface name isn't an attribute by default, and it's in the form of "if-mib::ifadminstatus.3" for Gi3 on that router, for example. I can add that full "if-mib::ifadminstatus.3" as a custom attribute, but would need to do that for every interface - and there may be hundreds, creating a custom attribute for each one isn't realistic. I'd love to be able to have the attribute simply be "if-mib::ifadminstatus" but custom attributes can't be wildcarded. Any ideas/advice?

Good question, I hope it gets a reply. @DavidMass perhaps?
