Does anyone know where the "magic"/payload mapping happens for Dynatrace integration into SNOW ITOM Event Management to create event records? We are intentionally not creating incidents and prefer to go through Event Management for additional correlation / deduplication logic across multiple sources. There is a mapping discrepancy with the EVENT_TYPE Dynatrace field into an event record field which we'd like to modify and this is NOT a field available in the Dynatrace Problem Notification / Available Placeholders configuration.
The mapping happens behind the scenes when you enable Events integration in Dynatrace with ServiceNow. Dynatrace pushes the data to ServiceNow via the Bulk events API call. You cannot customize this mapping for Event_Type or add it via a placeholder. What exactly are the event types you are looking to send across? Please let us know
