Splunk Event injection into Dynatrace for Davis AI event correlation

Hello Team,

Please let know if we could  forward Splunk events to Dynatrace Davis AI so as it could help with event correlation and finetuning.

Thanks.

Hello,

Dynatrace provides many options to import/ingest custom metrics which then can be analyzed by the Davis AI. The method of ingest depends on how the metrics are able to be retrieved from Splunk, whether from API or otherwise. More information on the ingest methods and how to set this up can be found here: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/metric-ingestion

Here is a blog post that goes in more detail as to how to define alerting for custom ingested metrics as well: https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/use-the-davis-ai-to-detect-outages-within-your-custom-data-strea...

Thanks @ryan_ott ,

We were looking for use case where we could capture the below points in Dynatrace, please help with your inputs

1. How can we capture all the events triggered by Splunk be forwarded/injected  to Dynatrace so as the Davis AI could perform event correlation on them.

2. Is there any way we could get the log telemetry pushed to DT from splunk just like the conventional OneAgent Log monitor would do so as when a problem occurs in DT it could display logs from splunk as well during the problem timeframe.

Thanks.
