Hello everybody,

I am working In a Dynatrace Client project, with DC RUM technologie (version 12.2).

I would like to known what are the good practices for availability configuration in AMD for following stands protocols:

  • Front-End Monitoring

    • HTTP

    • MS Exchange

    • SAP GUI

  • Database Monitoring

Thanks in advance.

Salut Maider

It's a bit of an open ended question you ask so it's an open ended answer you get (smile)

It depends - Your application and your environment might have certain elements that honour one or the other setting.

So for example - the first setting for HTTP is "Failures - Incomplete Responses - Partial Response" default this is "Disabled".  In your application or user situation this might not be enough but they want the partial responses measured, then you will have to "Enable" this setting (page 151 in "Web Application Monitoring User Guide.PDF").

Most of these setting for the various protocols are covered in the PDF's that you can download from the Forums. The you "just" have to see what fits your particular need best.

Most of the installation I've seen never touch these setting though (lightbulb)
