Alert triggering from failover node

I have a farm setup with 2 load balanced nodes and 2 failover nodes. We are using the script recipient to send alert to our event management system and today I noticed that both the failover and primary CAS are sending alerts. Sometimes they are the same and sometimes each server is sending different alerts. Is this normal behavior?

@cosmin - Are the alerts published to both CAS's ? If so, make sure to publish ONLY to the primary node in the cluster. I've run into this in the past and publishing only to the primary solved the issue. Also, what version are you running on ?

Hey Elvis,

The alerts are published only on the primary CAS, I do not even have the option to publish them on any other node. We are on 12.4.2.

@cosmin, It might have to do with the synchronization settings. However I don't have a 12.4 machine to test this. You might need to open a support case if noone else responds.
