Alerts - How to create an alert in the RUM Console

Hi All,

I have a requirement to create the following alerts for enterprise synthetic monitoring data reporting into a CAS:

1). When a transaction reaches it's give up / availability threshold an alert is fired and sent to email address one in business hours.

2). When that same transaction reaches it's give up / availability threshold an alert is fired by is sent to a different email address when it is outside business hours.

I haven't had the opportunity to really play around with the alert configuration options but if you any info that would be great.

Ian.

The concept of time tables or schedules doesn't exits on DCRUM. On the other hand it exits on synthetic monitoring. The only way to reach this is that you create two transactions on your enterprise syntetic, with different schedules, one with the business hours and other without business, maybe you should create more than one.

I hope it helps.

If you have to create two transactions to achieve this? What about licensing?

If you can create a schedule for each alarm which you define in the RUM Console you can achive it by creating two alarm definititions without creating two different trasactions for monitoring the same test!
