Changing Evaluation Timeframe in DCRUM alerts

Hello everyone,

I currently have the following scenario that I need to model with DCRUM alerts.Considering an AMD with 1 minute monitoring intervals, and the alert that wants to be modeled is the following:

Raise an alert if during the last 10 minutes, the average operation time during those 10 minutes is higher than 15 seconds. I understand the conditions are based on the monitoring intervals of the AMD.

Is it possible to change the evaluation timeframe, instead of using the monitoring interval of the AMD? I also understand that there is a consecutive intervals option for alerts, but the calculation of the data is linked to the monitoring interval of the AMD.

Let me know if this makes sense and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Regards,

José Miguel Colella

Hi José,

Only synthetic alerts may have different evaluation time-frames, as they are not related to the monitoring interval.

In my opinion your origin approach is correct. Try using 10 intervals and see what is happening. With 1-minute interval it's easy to experiment with alerts.

Best,
