Connect DCRUM with dynaTrace

We are trying to connect DCRUM with dynaTrace DeepDive Monitoring. Goal is to use the drilldown from DCRUM to dynaTrace measurements here (like described here: Verifying Integration of Dynatrace Application Monitoring with DC RUM ).

AMD and dynaTrace are in the same subnet with no firewall in between. But the AMD does not open the port 9091 which is described in the documentation (Configuring Dynatrace Application Monitoring to Receive Performance Data from DC RUM) .Any help here? ndstop + ndstart didn't change anything.

It is DCRUM 12.2 and dynaTrace 6.1.

Hi Friederike,

please, double-check that the port 9091 is available from the machine where you start dT client. If not, check if you can connect on port 443. If you verify with an external tool (e.g. telnet) that the port 9091 is available, double check that the credentials are correct.

Hello Leszek,

I cannot connect via telnet on port 9091. When I execute the command "netstat" on the AMD I see that the port isn't opened.

Port 443 is opened for the connection to the CAS (and it works) but I cannot use it for dynaTrace connection here (give a immediate exception).

Do you use "https" (the connection on port 443 is secure) instead of "http"? If so, what kind of exception do you get? Are you sure that your credentials are correct?

thanks for the help. "https" was the fault from my site. When I switch to https and port 443 everything works as aspected.
