Creating a VBA script to automate site management

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible and how to create a VBA script to convert a file containing the following syntax:

MyLocation = X.X.X.X-X.X.X.X
Mylocation.area = MyArea
Myarea.region = MyRegion

And turn it into a .csv file simplified like in attachment.

Regards,

C.A.

Hi,

Anything is possible in the scripting world, so you can absolutely do that.

However as for the detailed parsing algorithm and file generation, I don't think you'll find this here, though it's not very difficult it is time consuming.

May I ask why you want this in VBA ?

I want this VBA script because every 3 months sites are updated within our organization (new ip adresses, new area,...) and this is very constraining to add them manually every time.

Hi again,

I understand the reason, my question was really about the choice of technology.

Sorry, my mystake, infact the type of script doesn't matter, as it allows me to get the result I need.

I just logically thought about VBA script because at the end I want a .csv file.
