DCRUM and PostgreSQL protocol

bruno_da-silva

Hello All!

Starting with DCRUM, I would like to know if CAS supports PostgreSQL protocol?

So far, I have not found it on the forums nor the documentation. Do you know if it is planned for the AMD to decode this database protocol?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Regards,

Currently we don't support specific PostgreSQL protocol monitoring with DC RUM. We consider adding this support, but without specific dates in mind. As of today, DC RUM can only deliver network-level measurements with the Generic TCP decide: traffic volumetric, network performance, TCP connectivity, TCP-level response time.

It would help us tremendously if we received representative packet traces of the PostgreSQL traffic that you are looking to monitor. This always helps in development planning and analysis of all variants of the use cases.

Hi @Bruno Da Silva

Another approach is to do it yourself

The Universal decode should be enough to cover PostgreSQL, you "just" have to track down the Network Protocol Specificaition.

Hello

Do you have any good news about Analysis module for PostgreSQL?

Any date of Raod Map?
