Hello Babar,

The FDI default value are the same for Database and for HTTP...

This database FDI configuration is valuable only if the database is the front end tier - it's for a fat client architecture.

JLL

Hello Jean,

Thank you for this information.

Basically I did not find any documents to elaborate these thresholds for the understanding e.g.

- Number of hits thresholds

- Number of (base hit) redirect thresholds and vice versa

Can you please share some information about these thresholds one by one?

Regards,

Babar

Hello,

A SQL request can have a lot of compoents: here it's cursor execution. these components are counted by DCRUM in the metric name 'hit'.

For a SQL request, these components are executed sequentially -In a fat client architecture with a high RTT, it's important to verify that the SQL report don't have many 'hits' to be performed.

The other metric 'Number of (base hit) redirect thresholds' is a non sens for the Database FDI. You can forgot it.

JLL

Hello Jean,

Thank you.

Do you have any kind of documents to explain all these thresholds even for the http FDI?

If you have please share with me, so I can also have the sufficient information to explain.

Regards,

Babar
