Filtering on business hours

Hi Community,

We have a report going out daily showing the utilisation for our sites. In the daily report we simply have link as the dimension and incoming utilisation, and in the report definition we use working hours in the custom time section.

Building this out for the last 5 days, it is the same, only adding time as a column to display each day. Of course "working hours" in time is incompatible with the day resolution. It is possible to do with hours, but focusing every working hour across the week is too much for us to work with.

Is there a way to report the utilisation for each site through only working hours, reporting Mon-Fri?

Attached is the previous day (yday utilisation) and weekly (DOTW) versions.

Have you tried to use the Business Hour dimension as a filter?

Sorry for empty columns, it's a rough report definition on a test environment - note missing Saturday and Sunday in the table.

Hi Jaroslaw, thanks for your response.

Sadly that filter does not work to achieve this (I am not sure if it is supposed to or if there is a problem beneath) in images attached.

So a workaround for this was to actually split out the report into several sections. And in time, per section set custom advanced time. Then inside attributes, setting the shift count to when our business hours are defined relative to the reports time.

Have you checked the Business Hour configuration on the CAS? It may be set to 24x7.

0800-1600. The workaround in my last comment at least works.

Do you know if "business hour" and "business day" work as a filter to only show hours/business day in a DMI report?

What if you filtered on the "Hour of Day" dimension? Add the dimension and then filter the hours in the day you consider "business hours" - set it as a filter. Does that still give you day resolution?
