Flow Sources not showing my NetApp/AppFlow devices.


There are no Devices showing on the Flow Sources tab in the NAM Console. Here is what I know.

I have confirmed the configuration in the NetScaler that it is setup to send traffic to the AMD.
The appropriate ports are open in my Firewall.
My license allows for the collection for netflow data.
A tcpdump taken on the AMD for traffic on port 2055 is NOT capturing any data.
In the RUM console, the NFC service will not stayed checked, so it appears that it is not running. Is this service needed to capture appflow data?

Yes, the NFC service is needed to collect the NetFlow data, however, with zero packets captured on UDP 2055, the traffic is not being delivered to the NAM Probe to be analyzed.

For the packets not being delivered, look for firewalls/routing/etc between the NetScalers and the NAM Probe.

For the NFC service not staying running, I recommend opening a ticket.
