This product reached the end of support date on March 31, 2021.

For some reports, changing resolution doesn't do anything, the charts in report are still using hourly resolution

I notice that Citrix report and also software service report is like this. Any other reports that also exhibit similar behaviour?

Also, is this how it works? Seems kinda not intuitive to me.....


Yes, certain charts use "smart resolution" which adapts to selected timerange regardless of the resolution selected.

There are two ways to deal with that:

  • change the resolution in the report definition - Time tab
  • zoom into shorter time range by selecting one of more columns on the report and choosing "Zoom to this time"
