HTTP Methods used by NAM

I'm working quite some time with DC RUM / NAM and also analysed the communication between browser and CAS / RUM Console.

But now I'm working on some security questions about this communication and I was asked which HTTP methods are accepted by NAM and which of these methods are really used by the product.

As far as I know NAM is only using GET and POST request but maybe there are some "hidden" parts of the product which are using other methods?

Did anybody answered such questions in his company?

From what I can see PUT, DELETE, and HEAD can also appear. One of the places for PUT/DELETE would be the internal REST API used for communication between Console and Server. NAM 2019 will come with public configuration REST API which will also use PUT and DELETE. I hope that helps.
